CYBERJAYA : WORK, LIVE AND PLAY

Malaysia's first truly intelligent city, Cyberjaya was officially launched by the Fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on 8th July 1999. The landmark event was witnessed by 25 of the world's top personalities in the IT world.

The Cyberjaya city lies at the heart of Malaysia's Multimedia Super-Corridor (MSC). The corridor covers 750 square kilometers (300 square miles) and is equipped with world-class physical infrastructure as well as next–generation 2.5-10 Gb multimedia network.

Cyberjaya is easily accessible from all parts in Malaysia. Connected to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur Sentral by the Express Rail Link (ERL), it is also linked to major business areas by a network of expressways including:

1. The North-South Expressway Central Link
2. The Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP)
3. The South Klang Valley Expressway and
4. The proposed Dedicated Highway.

Promising to be the city of the future, Cyberjaya is the home ground for many IT & technology companies as special cyberlaws, policies and practices tailored to enable the Cyberjaya’s residents to achieve the full promise of multimedia.
CYBERPARK : WHERE ALL THE FUN BEGINS

As in most projects, the better land areas in Cyberjaya would be prioritised for developments that would give better returns, leaving less desired areas for other purposes. Understanding the competition for land resources, Cypark took the challenge to design and develop a large disused mining land in Cyberjaya, converting it into a beautiful urban park – hence transforming it into the ‘green lung of Cyberjaya’, drawing visitors from all walks of life.
D'MELOR - THE LOW DENSITY CONDOMINIUM

D’Melor is a low-rise, low density condominium development of 120 freehold units sitting in 5.3 hectares of lush tropical landscaped gardens in the centre of Cyberjaya. D’Melor is located just off Persiaran Multimedia, adjacent to the “green lung” of Cyberjaya and close to Street Mall, the bus station and Multimedia University.

Many people are unfamilar with Cyberjaya and feel that it is a long way from the metropolis of downtown Kuala Lumpur. However, Cyberjaya is a haven away from the frenetic life of KL, offering many green, public, open spaces, no polution and few traffic problems compared with other cities or townships. The new MEX KL-Putrajaya Highway has an entance and exit at Cyberjaya and it means that KLCC is a mere 20 minutes away in one direction and KLIA 25 minutes in the other. It has a second-to-none public transport system and park-and-ride service.

Cyberjaya offers a high standard of living and true country living but within a planned, lush green environment with parks, lakes and a growing commercial centre. Underlying this is a state of the art technology infrastructure providing fibre optic telecommuncations network connected all commercial, government and residential buildings in the city.
SME TECHNOPRENEUR CENTRE CYBERJAYA 1 & 2

SME Technopreneur Centre Cyberjaya 1 was developed in line with the Government's aspirations to cater for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) at affordable rental rates in Cyberjaya. This office complex is basically comprised of an Office Block and an Administration Block. The Office is zoned into Block A,B & C. Block A and Block C are 3-storey while Block B is 4-storey.

They are linked in a U-shape cluster around a landscaped courtyard by a common basement floor for car parks. A total of 158 units of varying rentable office space of between 660 square feet and 1070 square feet are available with centralised amenities such as toilets, pantries, cafeteria (with alfresco dining area), a gymnasium, a lounge, a resource centre and lifts. The Administration Block is a 2-storey building, serving as the 'gateway' into the office complex. Two wings (east and west wings) of the building are connected at the First Floor by a pedestrian bridge. The west wing comprises a reception lobby, FMC's office, building security and control room, mail room, surau and data centre, whereas the east wing consists of a boardroom and Cyberview's office.

In order to support the Malaysia Government's agenda for SMEs, SME Technopreneur Centre Cyberjaya 2 was planned.

The second SME building is again not just a building project as it will also include a total comprehensive support system for the benefit of companies operating in this building.
